Something like this that I tweeted some time ago? ;-D https://twitter.com/BitcoinFreedomS/status/1692447528103428113?s=20
I also visited this monastery structure some years ago in Italy, like the living setup, check it up: https://goo.gl/maps/Rj9efy3eV7xXNvh48
See photos 15+ there is inside courtyard with doors, every door is 1 "apartment", if I remember correctly 1/2 room(s) and a garden, very simple, really liked the setup, would be perfect for "deep work" and general "detox" from modern world (mass media, food, phone, even internet :-) etc.). Even to find clarity what one wants to do in their live and their WHY.
From satellite image you can see 22 "gardens" so every body stays in the room for certain period (don't remember how long periods of time) of time and meditate etc.
Certosa di Pavia Via del Monumento, 4, 27012 Certosa di Pavia PV, Italy
Only thing needed is land, could be somewhere cheap as even better if somewhere far away from everything. Every country should have them!!!
this can be built with straw bales also or plastic bottles or tires & earth (simple structure). Could rent out to Bitcoiners. I would really need a place to detox for 3 months, for example, maybe discount if you help around in "communal garden" etc.
I don't have money but let me know how I could help, also just throw ideas to the wall together.

There are 40 acres for sale next to this monastery. I'd like to see a Catholic bitcoin family buy it.

I've also given thought to techno-monasteries before. One thing that characterized monasteries was that they actually produced stuff valued by the outside world, which is how they traded and sustained themselves. Not too hard to see how programming can be used as the means to sustain a modernized monastic lifestyle

I am a product of Catholic schools through college. I am old enough to have actually been hit by nuns! I had to pause the podcast, but I'll get back to it.

That's old school. We had one stern elderly nun at my high school, who I think was the last of that era (may she rest in peace). I hear stories though.
