I like the outreach efforts that drew me to SN, which were ads on Fountain. It seems like a nice way to grow SN, while maintaining the high signal environment, is to reach out to these highly selected communities.
Yeah I'm not begrudging marketing efforts, I think Bitcoin ecosystems like nostr can bring users here as well as being a place to learn and discuss bitcoin apps and wallets for example, send them to SN
If ever i have a question on stuff people will quickly point me in the right direction here

Wow, you really nailed it. So many on other sites clearly do not want to learn but rather blather on. When challenged they either disappear or sink to insults.
Lol I was guilty of coming here with a Twitter attitude and quickly got set strait by the helpful plebs, its tough love man

I don't, lol this place is too signal and too many honest debaters here, will rek a normie that doesn't have the humility to deal with it all..I feel like SN is a destination for post maximalist realisation
