I’ve lived for two years without my family. In 2019, I was featured in a documentary critical of the U.S. immigrant-detention system. After it came out, I was deported to Argentina after living in the U.S. for almost 20 years. A pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants would not only allow us to obtain better jobs so we aren’t taken advantage of or abused—it would also allow us to be heard. The day undocumented people can express themselves without fear, the country will be a more equal place.

The so called "undocumented" people are the sovereign people... aka the freemen.
Why do you want to be a slave citizen?
The govID is NOT yours and is making you the slave!
Stop chasing that false dream!

Was your deportation punishment do you believe for being featured in the documentary?
