Excellent. ‘Walking..’ what a guy!
As Jack said

And I should add I really enjoyed this. The characters, their descriptions and the whole story. Awesome.

You and I had our little exchange about On the Road. I really enjoyed it. I hadn't thought about that stuff in years. I started thinking about the whole Gonzo thing too. Then, this happens! Weird coincidence.

Yeah. So many hidden gems in American literature people today overlook and it was such fun to chat about them. These books sit on my shelf and I need to reread them more often.
It has set me to thinking about a spontaneous prose piece about an approach to life called ‘beat-coin’. I can picture a few SN’ers walking down the street riffing on Bitcoin and me shambling after…

You should pursue it. I have trouble articulating what I would like to see, but we need a new kind of literature for bitcoin. Real journalism is dead with a few exceptions. I have tried to write some longer essays - they were around ‘fiat thinking’ seeping into the arts, health or education but they read terribly. And I don’t want to waste time fighting with people over it.
Would long form semi-autobiographical pieces work better? They would certainly be different. Honestly, I’m not sure I have either talent nor story to tell and I certainly don’t possess the writing ability!
I’ll have a think. If I get the chance I promise you will read it here first.

You won't know if you don't try. It sounds like you're young, so you have the time to grow. You're smart and well read. I look forward to reading your stuff.

Well, kind of you to say but I’m not that young! With that in mind and time-a-wasting I better get in with it if I’m going to do it. Thank you for your encouragement.

Everyone seems young to me. Onward and upward!
