I learned the hard way to never buy bitcoin on Bianace.

The first time I moved it to cold storage it was like a 50k sats fee, I said never again and have never touched it since. They don't need to dump it or bump the fees when they already charge well above and beyond what the fees are.

Please for the love of god stay far away from them.

I cannot even begin to fathom the arguments and hours of meetings to achieve this... Quite impressed with the organization that managed to agree and execute, would love know some of the inside drama (just for confirmation that it was difficult to execute on and likely months in the making).

Just checked my instance of mempool and its still congested...

Why would they dump UTXOs? Why not consolidate a few each block?

Might it be related to some deal between Elon Musk's Twitter and Binance? Seems like $500,000,000 are planned to be used by the two for who-knows-what.
