I'm getting ready for the movie 🤓
but I want to complain that their payment flow is really bad, collecting so much unnecessay info, even tax.! which is kind of funny given what the movie is about, and they could def have chosen a better payment processor for Bitcoin.

use fake info... it doesn't matter
yes I agree just for watching a movie too much data questions.
And is from an anti-gov movie !

My business partner is a lady and she's always fighting to on board more women in STEM and finance and of course Bitcoin!

I'm here!! Been around for 7-8 years. I have helped a number of women get into bitcoin (as savings technology), but when I travel and attend meetups, I still often am the only woman there.
Most people, not only women, do bitcoin "quietly", meaning they just save/invest for themselves, but they don't need to go all in and become part of the community.
I've noticed that many women dismiss all things money (not just bitcoin) because they think they are not good with finance and they think they are not good with tech. Both is not true, of course. But Bitcoin is both finance and tech, so it's a double whammy in terms of confidence. In my experience, though, women are much better investors than men (generalisation, I know) because they tend to be a lot more cautious and careful.
I've also noticed, though, that women - and actually every noob, regardless of gender - just need a teacher that speaks their language. I've seen many people walk out of "Bitcoin for beginners" lectures, also men, because things just went over their head, or they just didn't see what it had to do with them.
I do think Bitcoin knowledge spreads much better peer-to-peer. If I find myself in a 1:1 conversation and understand what kind of personal situation a person is in, I can make it much more practical and tangible for them and talk about Bitcoin in terms of that specific situation.
In general, though, I think the worse inflation gets, the more people will wake up and notice what a giant problem they're having, and that there is only one thing that can fix that - Bitcoin.

Yep! Going to meetups and small Bitcoin only conferences help me build friendships with other female bitcoiners and we stay connected online until we can meet again in person.

My significant other has grown weary of my constant talk about Satoshi's creation. To keep me quiet, she engages in Dollar-Cost Averaging . While she has witnessed the benefits of my fascination with Bitcoin, she's hesitant to fully embrace the Bitcoin standard and still opts for a life tied to fiat currencies. (Fiat-Peasantry)
I believe the next Bitcoin cycle might be the catalyst for a change of heart! What do you all think? Will more people open their minds to a deeper understanding of genuine financial freedom?

My wife is 100% on board. Sister doesn't invest time to study it but follows her old bro and holds it in cold storage.

The best is: I put BTC for my niece as for my kids on seperated cold storage. The whole process of passing our little family assets is already done. The kids are well educated bitcoiners and firm in austrian economics and philosophy (special training done by myself). My two are docs my little niece has plenty of time to grow up... we are building a clan of Bitcoiners. Great feeling!

My wife was skeptical about Bitcoin but has come around and now saves in Bitcoin. She is not active in the community at all though. She is just interested in using bitcoin as a savings technology and a way to send money abroad.

I believe that women will help bring in other women, as women generally want what other women have.
I have noticed that the women in the Bitcoin space are generally better at communicating and teaching others about Bitcoin. I do believe that in the future, there will be many more Bitcoin jobs other than development.
I went to my first Bitcoin conference recently and I was surprised there were so few women in the technical bitcoin space.
My girlfriend mentions that her stocks are going down each month. The main thing is to be patient and just answer their questions.
As an aside, I think that women can be better programmers than men and to not be afraid of math, because they're better at raising children: keeping track of dozens of different subtasks and all the different variables that involve raising a child. Most of the math in programming is easy, and beyond that it's a lot of smaller logic puzzles. (Women are better multitaskers, wow so sexist!!!).
In the West, women generally handle the family's finances, so here's to hoping that we onboard more women for strong and happy families!

My wife has zero interest in learning about it. She sees it as an investment just like other fiat investments. She's okay with that.
My sister owns a little. She's smart enough to understand some of the why Bitcoin not crypto but I'm pretty sure she also owns a little crypto as well. During the bull market she was asking all the right questions but lost interest as the fiat price went down.

Yes. Female family members regard "crypto" (it's all the same to them) as a scam that has fizzled out. I don't attempt to orange pill anyone IRL anymore. I'm just going to stack some sats for some family members, and that'll be that.

I've met some bitcoiner wives/girlfriends at meetups and they don't fully understand what their husbands/boyfriends are so excited about but they all seem to support them and really enjoy their men being so passionate about building Bitcoin.

My wife is 100% involved in BTC. She isn't a tech savy but understood very well the fundamentals and the importance of Bitcoin better than me.
I'm more into the "how to" set up walllets, back up keys, lighting, etc...So, I guess we're a good team.
There are few BTC meetups for women only.
