I am reading Gibby- Tales of a Baseball Lifer. You said any topic counts.
For a minute I thought this was a Kirk Gibson memoir- another guy for whom I hold a many decade grudge.

I heard the original script for the movie the Grudge was just a list of the players and teams you hold 30 year grudges for but the film was going to be too long so they turned it into a silly horror flick.

What I found interesting is that the year Gibby was drafted the Mets had 4 first round picks and they picked Strawberry first but also picked Billy Beane, John Gibbons back to back and just in front of Beane and Gibbons the Expos drafted Terry Francona.
What are the chances that 3 big name baseball managers/executives get drafted back to back to back?

Haha no. John Gibbons, former Met (try not to hold that against him), and 2x Blue Jays manager. I bought the book for my dad for his birthday and he said it was good so I borrowed it. It's ok.
