It counts. I'll take it. Had to dig deep but you found something.
Andrea Bocelli is one of the few humans on the planet whose voice I consider ridiculous. I mean, one should not be able to sing like that.

Actually crazy. Can't think of anyone better. There's only been one other singer who's sent shivers down my spine and that was Floor Jansen.

Unfamiliar. You made me get my headphones out on a Monday morning yet again.

See #257236 that's got the link.

Her range is incredible.

Yes. It is madness. There's a TV series in Holland (I think it was Holland) called "Beste Zanger" you can find it on YouTube. It's subtitles are in English. But she appears on that singing with Henk Port amongst others. And it's such a good wholesome show of just musicians appreciating each other.

Listening to Sleeping Sun right now. Will check this out next.

Always liked sleeping sun. Beautiful track.

If you end up down a nightwish rabbit hole. I'm not going to rescue you, I'm taking full responsibility (see also credit) and I hope you enjoy yourself because that band is something very very special.

I found an old live version of Phantom of the Opera. I think it had a different singer but that was really cool.

That was probably their original singer Tarja (yellow dress?) They went their separate ways around 2004ish. Then they had Annette for the album dark passion play, then Floor after that. Tarja and Marko had amazing chemistry for phantom. But Henke Port actually played the phantom in a Dutch production and him and Floor singing it together is just incredible (on Beste Zanger)

I am a sucker for Phantom of the Opera. Seen it a couple times. Also Les Miserables. I am a cultured bastard.

Marko (blond dude, wicked beard, plays the bass) has such unique vocals that when sung with Tarja, gave the phantom a creepy almost evil sound due to Markos ability to add grit to his voice.
