At the risk of doxxing myself, sure.
No, I wasn't banned for discussing it. People post tasks, others bid on them. I bid on web scraping tasks. It's like paid exercise. I only do legitimate work. This person wanted help getting some kind of media offline. Said youtube-dl wasn't working for them. No mention of piracy, etc. If they had mentioned that, I wouldn't have bid.
From my perspective, it looks like the mod didn't know the exact nature, and it sounded just fishy enough to intervene. So they banned the task OP and everyone who bid on it, just to be safe.
edit: I'm guessing which task I got banned for. They didn't say exactly. They phrased it as if all the web scraping tasks were bad.
Sorry didn't mean to pry. Just wanted to understand.
Moderation in economic contexts like that is particularly distressing.

It's fine. Thanks for listening. I'm mostly bummed because it was a good little stream of income when I needed it. It was competitive and professional. Mostly positive experiences. Now I'm lumped in with the scammers.
Well, the only way to feel power is to use it, right?
