Honestly, since I want to use sats more frequently in my everyday life, I cannot shake off the feeling that I ought to stare at the charts so that I get the most bang for my buck whenever I swap fiat for BTC. Am I the only one feeling this way?

I don't consider myself "Orange pilled" only someone who believes in Bitcoin. I Think the phrase "I have been/you have been <X> pilled" serves to divide us into social camps at a time where I believe we should be less socially fragmented. It serves as a flag for identity and I have no motivation to make Bitcoin my identity. In the most ideal scenario it should exist in the background and serve me. I shouldn't have to think about it at all.

It's just a slang term. I wouldn't overthink this one

Honestly true. I don't read into it if others use the term. It is a good way to call everyone around the camp fire and share stories at least!
reply
It's sort of harsh. And tribal.
reply
But sort of colloquial

To think deeper about the world powers

There's no side effect from Bitcoin.
When you refer to "side effects" first thing that comes into people's mind is something bad. Sometimes is not that, but mostly yes.
reply
Good or bad. I'm not judging.
reply
Then I would rephrase the question in: "What troubles cause you bitcoin, in your life?"
