I think the music industry would be a big winner using BTC.
I sill remember when buying albums was an experience, maybe you heard a few songs and you knew it would be nice to get the whole thing. There was something special about it being physical, you had an object that contained this new trove. When I was a teenager I had to save some to buy the albums I liked, so there was this expectation about it and and the excitement when you finally listened to every song in it. Nowadays you can download gigabytes of music and thousands of albums at once and you get so overwhelmed and just blasé about new music.
A friend of mine just shared this and it reminded me how seldom I buy albums! I went to the bandcamp site, which I think is pretty good, but found that there wasn't an option to pay with BTC. I just wrote there to ask for it, maybe if more of us do it too they will understand there's a market for it.
I know some musicians and I know how hard it is to live on your music, that's why I try to buy the albums I like, but I'm not sure how much of that money actually goes to them, I feel bandcamp is a little better in that sense, would like to hear your thoughts.
Yes bandcamp is great. Here is my page on Bancamp. https://deepologic.bandcamp.com/
I'll try to write to them for BTC
