So what do you suggest? We just pull the plug and let them get ran over by a dictator on a power trip willing to do almost anything to get his fix and rebuilt the old USSR?

just like afghanistan you ask? wasnt a problem there.. just wondering where you draw the line

The deal to get out of Afghanistan was negotiated and agreed to by the Trump administration. Don't let your right wing propaganda tell you otherwise, that's a fucking fact.

The US is over 30 trillion in debt. How does the country keep funding wars when it's finances are so poor that the central bank and Treasury needs to buy the government's own bonds to keep the lights on, because investors no longer see any value in these bonds? I understand the moral arguments you're making, but I'm genuinely curious how you think this is sustainable? Does the debt load and crushing interest spiral not worry you?

I'm with you in regards to military spending. The Pentagon ends each fiscal year with a surplus, they don't spend all the money congress gives them. Yet the Rethuglicans want an increase in military funding each time the federal budget is on the table..
reply
My opinions aren't pro Republican haha. They're anti war. You can shit on "Rethuglicans" all day and I'll laugh along. But I will also shit on Democrats because they are complicit in horrible acts. I am in favor of redirecting that military surplus to paying down some of our absurd levels of debt.

Were you asking this question when W Bush and John Mccain came up with a false flag to go into Iraq and get revenge for W's father, H.W. and Saddam's actions in the Kuwait War? I bet you weren't..
reply
Honestly, I wasn't alive back then. I'm not in the business of litigating past conflicts or what Republicans or Democrats did 30 years ago. Politicians have committed all sorts of horrible crimes, and they continue to do so. I care about the present and the fact that my generation and the next few generations will have to deal with the debt load that y'all have accumulated. END ALL THE WARS.

Bro i'm only thirty. Our age gap isn't as big as you think. My generation got fucked by the baby boomers and generations beforehand as well, and they are the reason we are in this fucking mess.

But you absolutely have to learn from the past. I was in elementary/middle school when we went into Iraq for reasons that were made up by the Bush administration and John Mccain/the republicans. And even if you weren't alive in 2003, you should absolutely learn and study the past because it's crucial in our effort to not repeat our mistakes. This is why I laugh at the conservative right attempting to ban schools from teaching history that make white people look bad/the truth of what really occurred and how it occurred. They are ashamed, and I say this as a white person.
