Taking Bitcoin to the "village banks"
“Village banks” are groups of low-income entrepreneurs who come together to share and guarantee one another's loans. This is very crucial for the most parts of Africa.
Village banking is actually a microcredit methodology whereby financial services are administered locally rather than centralized in a formal bank.

I merged some code. Deployed and broke some stuff. More meetings/talking the last few days than usual too.
I'm going to try and get mutes done before EoW as I stew on the last 20% of personalized feeds.

Site2Site VPN - cisco and Azure :-) Lotsa fun... gotta try that sometimes yourself :-) Wish Azure would take LN or BTC... They don't even take pre-paid (AWS does)

Getting another 3k sats so that I can go and buy a $10 worth of supermarket vouchers from Bitrefill.
I know it sounds kinda lame but I don’t think I can go onboard Bitwage so easily since I’m Asian. That’s why I want to at least fill my tummy with my sats. Hopefully my dependence on fiat will grow less with time.

Week 4 of the Nostr-based wallet and node app stack. #260011
We've started wiring it all together for initial tests. I don't think anything is even close to our wallet in UX... very happy with it, and glad that it's something we've circled back to with fresh eyes. An nprofile for your lightning node has boundless utility.
Conceptually, we overlooked a few minor things in the nostr rpc for this usecase. Those are quick fixes to add, but we have to prioritize another product that's already in production for at least a couple of weeks.
Given that, and the tedious dog-fooding, ancillary detail work, to get it complete enough to package, I'm thinking its about 4 weeks before it makes sense to solicit testers.
Sorry if you don't hear more about it before then.

Not much really. I think noone tried the recent additions to my lightning node channel advisor. I know I could do a lot to improve the ux, but with no users and little free time, I don't really have much incentive to make it print more than raw analysis results. Thinking about having my own lightning node ranking system. I don't know if it will be useful either, but at least I can see the progress of my own node after each 'ew channel recommended by my advisor. Also thinking about the new server to host the lightning node after the original server died, to replace the temporary one currently in use. And letting some other 'big' project idea mature in my brain
