Just wanted to do a heat-check and see how many stackers actually know about how the SN referral program works?
Stacker News pays 21% of the sats spent on boosts by any account on SN for a referral.
With advertisers now dropping 100k sats/day to boost their posts, this feels like an underrated way to stack sats on Stacker News.
I notice that many SN users still didn't read FAQ page. People don't want to read, especially FAQ pages. Sad.

I’m not sure I understand this statement, can you explain it a different way?
reply
if you share your referral link with someone and they make a post with a 100k sat boost on it, you get 21,000 sats as a reward.
there is no limit on how many people can use your referral link either.
reply
Ah so you get 21% of all boosts that your referred users spend. Got it!
I didn’t see how the advertisements played into it since presumably they all flow through the @ad user which isn’t referred by anyone
reply
Absolutely but it very difficult to get referral.
