What’s your onboarding process?

Ask. Then listen. If they ask questions, explain who I am and why I support and use the alternative system of currency.
Then recommend the local Lightning payment infrastructure company.
Nothing pushy. Nothing too ORANGE PILL IS THE ONLY WAY.
Just planting a seed.

Makes sense. I’m curious what your onboarding process is for the handful of business you helped onboard. Has it been a completely different process each time, or do you have a specific process with the same bitcoin products that you set them up with?
reply
Both. Haha. At first it was scattershot and not good. Totally random. But now I essentially have the same flow each time.
Most of the time people aren't too receptive and just say 'uhhh No'. Usually the random cashier making minimum wage does not give a crap and just wants their job to be easy. So my caveat is like... pick your spots. Usually talking to a manager or owner will have more gravitas. Have to sort of read people and the situation. Always ask... but know when it's best to accept the polite answer and then pay with fiat.
Start slow!

You're right. It rarely works, but it never hurts.

The worst they can do is say No.
But the seed might be planted.

What about when a country bans the use of bitcoin to pay for goods and services and local merchants refuse to accept it for that reason for fear of repercussions from law enforcement and the IRS?
reply
It never is?

This should be at the top of your lips every time you are trying to make payment
