I've had a standing desk that lowers all the way down to a floor sitting desk for like 7+ years. I got a new standing/floor sitting desk (rather than one I made myself) which allows me to vary my body position more because it has more room under the desk.

Regardless, I still feel my best work-wise with terrible posture and being semi-contorted. It's like I'm trying to leave my body and enter the machine.
