this is a great article. If you read it, you might think, Lens sassaman was satoshi . it makes a compelling case. Lens Sassaman killed himself several months after the above message was posted

I like that article, but it is not conclusive.
Also, there is a twitter thread where Len replies that he hasn't heard about Bitcoin.
You can of course read that as an argument for both sides of the question.

I like to think some of he/she/they that designed bitcoin are still around. If there's only one person responsible for the code, and it was Hal, we know what they moved onto.
What do smart ambitious people do when they move on? They usually don't retire in a traditional sense. Their mission just changes.

In third grade a "friend" of mine said he would give me a blastoise (holographic) if i went to one of the day-care staff members (an attractive woman) and kissed her hand. I did it and then ran away from her as fast as possible, eventually was caught and got in a lot of trouble, and never got the blastoise. Thanks Bryce.
