I'm probably not gonna convince you but there are many evidences of many things written about in the Bible being true events. In fact in many cases the evidence is stronger than the evidence of other historical events/characters. This is separate from believing that Jesus was God or that there is a God. 

So your standard is that everything written needs to be proven or it is all a lie? Do you apply that standard to everything? And what defines proven for you?

There's no proof that everything written in that story book were true real facts.
Just people's belief.

Respectfully disagree with it being a lie. The point is that you can't hope to understand Western Civilization without it. It shaped the world we know in deep ways many that ignore it do not comprehend.
