European welder: How to obtain working VISA for Canada

A good Bitcoiner friend is facing a rather frustrating bureaucratic situation.
Her young (mid-twenties) son is a wonderful professional welder. He has worked for several years already, has great skills and has happily made a great living thanks to them in several European countries. Kiddo is a great guy and has a great share of skill and experience for his age.
He is now interested in moving to Canada due to personal reasons, but so far it appears there are pretty much no chances of him obtaining any kind of VISA to give it a shot at moving there. He holds a European Passport.
I will happily give the bounty to anyone who can provide insightful, real-life experiences that can be helpful, provide a helpful contact or basically help in any significant way. Please, refrain from simply pointing to the official documentation on the topic since this has already been properly explored by him.
If there are any details I can share that would better help you assist, please feel free to ask and I'll try to provide them.
I hope someone can help out. It would be such a great proof that Bitcoiners are a good community that can overcome government.

Sounds like the basics of searching have been done.
I would now try to find some companies that are seem like they have an urgent need for welders. Try calling them on the phone, and see if you can actually talk to a person. It looks like there's lots of people hiring: https://ca.indeed.com/Welding-jobs-in-Calgary.
If you're lucky enough to get someone on the phone (and I'd guess you will, if you call all the hiring companies), talk to them about sponsorship. Be prepared to tell a good story. Provide easily verifiable evidence of your skills.
It does also seem like there's a lot of scams out there. (https://www.visajobshq.com/post/construction-workers-needed-in-canada-work-visa-lmia-sponsorship-available). Maybe they're not scams, but they're selling a subscription to a product.

Spanish.
I can't tell since I'm not familiar. From the little I've read in a minute about the working holiday, I think he fills all the requirements. Do you have any more info/experience on this specific visa?

The working holiday scheme is for young people to move around for a year or two. Pretty popular way to go travel/work between EU/UK/Australia/New Zealand/Canada. For the Spanish, I believe they get a year in Canada. I personally found it easier to find a job once there. However, you will need some money to support yourself until you find that job(it's expensive in Canada). Once you are in Canada and working, there's usually ways to extend your stay and move to a more permanent visa(PR), look up permanent residency pathways.
In my experience, Quebec was harder to get PR but there was fewer travellers because of the French speaking. Vancouver/Toronto has really expensive accommodation. I've heard good things about Calgary. Best of luck

Canada is in need of skilled labourers. Best bet is try and get assistance from a company. Many of the big builders will offer work visa assistance.
