I see emails going around of a phishing scam with Strike branding which ZachxBT has pushed out on Twitter, and now it has been confirmed by Strike that their data was leaked through "3rd party" vendors, whatever that is supposed to mean
Not a good look for the Bitcoin space with Blockstream customers who ordered from their store also having their emails leaked and targetted with scam mail
Stay vigilant and be careful, people are going to leverage these established brands that have goodwill to try and fleece those who haven't learned to verify and rely on trust
That is sad. If only these people would use that energy to learn something new we would be in a different place. If it looks like a duck and quacks, it's a duck.... "Stay vigilant" is right.. I have one rule which is never to click on any links that are "sus" and go directly to the source. It takes 2 seconds and one avoids spreading your data (including metadata) around.

100% man, cultivating that habit will make sure you don't end up handing over sats unnecessarily, being your own bank is hard, we're so used to service providers and custodians managing what is legit and what is not, and we need to get away from it, trust no one

oof! tired of hearing about all these data leaks. people really need to learn to be skeptical of any email they receive from a financial institution in general

Happens every day but it just such a bad look for Bitcoin companies, not only because the space is about privacy and security but because you can suffer irrecoverable losses if you're still a novice to this game
