So the purpose of this post is to share our thoughts about the first day of the tournament and to make fun of @siggy47 for blowing his first pick.

Yep. The refs made sure the Warriors won, but that one was a close call.
If you want to argue the legitimacy of the call, it probably should have been called goaltending against the Thunder instead of successful basket, because Giddey touched and grabbed the net before Green touched the rim. Either way, it was a good basket, and the Warriors won fair and square.
I actually didn't see it. League Pass is glitching on me and won't let me see Warriors games. I was just echoing what I read about it.
