I enjoyed the first season of Dark. Season two got too surreal for me. I couldn’t get past the first episode.

In the same theme, I recommend the [Counterpart](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4643084/) mini series or [Dark](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_(TV_series))

 clearly inspired The Matrix and was very good in certain ways but bumbled a great story. I'm hoping the second part is better.
