It's great that this classic is available for free download. After hearing many people I respect rave about it, I finally got around to reading it about a year ago. I was not disappointed. It is amazing how much foresight these writers had back in 1999, although the big changes are taking longer than they anticipated. I learned a lot nonetheless

Just to comment on the "epub" side of this. Where possible what I do is get the book from some grey source and then send sats to the person directly. Without intermediates.

The book was good. It's a great lesson on how to predict the future: thoroughly understand of history.
However, I didn't love the format. It's a bunch of short and sometimes longwinded essays. It didn't feel very cohesive - the narrative was kind of scattered and redundant.
