Confession Time: Have You Ever Used Testnet?

I'm kinda embarrassed to admit I've never used testnet. I've only used mainnet. Some might say that's brave. I don't know about that but I'm curious how many like me have never used testnet?

Seriously thinking I should try out testnet so that I can use it to teach others with no risk.

Yes. Anyone developing tools, integrations and services uses it a lot.

"Regtest" is useful for local testing and development, but when working with a team testnet becomes the only viable choice.

I have not. I am regtest maxi ... but I also don't need to test anything that would benefit from being on testnet.

Bitcoin became real to me when I started using it. Using the tools for real vs. just buying some on some web site.

The problem with most people is that they only listen to others. This is really bad with bitcoin because most of your fiat experts have zero understanding of how bitcoin works or what it is. Yet, they speak with authority. The thing is, bitcoin is completely open and free to be used by anyone. You can test it yourself. There is no reason you have to trust anyone.

Started using test net to set up multi-sig and working with different hardware wallets like coldcard and seedsigner. Lots of practice helped me understand what’s going on. Been a great learning experience!

pussy. A bitcoiner must be reckless. Leave the testnet for developers, because they have a specific use for that.

"Oh I'm going to use testnet because I am not sure if I would lose some sats..." That shows you have no balls for using Bitcoin.

Yes, I have used testnet3, as a developer. But nowadays I use signet more often than testnet3.
