Users aren't required to run their own lighting node. You could use a custodial lightning wallet (like Wallet of Satoshi) without any issues whatsoever on robosats.

Is there a way to derive a reputation score by analyzing the seller's lightning node? The seller signing a message with the node could function as identity verification.
