This past weekend walked into a CVS with my 10 year old fellow BTCer, shouted "look Bitcoin", to a ATM looking machine. Quick investigation, Liberty X app needs to be downloaded to use. "Buy bitcoin instantly from CVS, Walgreens and other retailers near you." Use the app to generate order number and verify pH, store location. Apparently supports non custodial wallets, unlike SWAn, use debit card or cash at some locations. Some kyc on certain accounts it looks like. So my question is: Has anybody used this BTC onramp?
I used it before they had KYC - haven’t since.

Their exchange spreads are awful, along with the fact they want KYC. Avoid. There's some bitcoin/crypto ATM's in my area here in michigan that you can actually use straight cash without an app or an ID or even putting in a name. You enter the address either manually or scan it off your phone via QR code (the atm has a QR scanner) and within 60 seconds you're given a transaction ID which they will send to your phone number or email along with a receipt. Their spreads are absolutely disgusting though. it's highway robbery. I was forced to use one last year and lost $6 on the spread getting litecoin. Bitcoin spread was even worse due to the tx fee's of on chain btc i assume. And i only bought $40 in litecoin also..and lost $6 and some change. gross as fuck.

I came close once, but I couldn't get around the KYC and abandoned ship.
