You may have heard bitcoin referred to knowledge arbitrage, or time arbitrage, or something along these lines. But what does that mean exactly?
Basically, knowing about Bitcoin gives you an inherent edge over other "market participants", and you can use that gap in knowledge to create a beneficial arbitrage trade for yourself; i.e. stacking sats and saving in the hardest money on earth before others do, creating an economic/energetic/time advantage for your life.
All this to say: What other things in life are a "knowledge arbitrage" trade? What other simple gold mines are out there that we just aren't learning about?
Geoarbitrage - many things are priced differently in different countries, and learning how to make things work in your favor is an art!
e.g.
  • Labor cost - I prefer working with devs from Egypt or Vietnam instead of from Europe or USA; if I can get the same thing done, why spend triple the cost?
  • Life quality - if you like the sunshine and beach, why waste your life hating the cold? It is as simple as moving to SE Asia; And things costing a lot in one place maybe cost like nothing in other places.

  1. Caring about people. It's so funny that this comes across as weak when it's a superpower.
  2. Talking to lots of different kinds of people in real life and listening to them.
  3. The humanities. Literature, in particular.

I'm going to interpret this as "things most people don't know, that are incredibly useful to know".
Here's mine - it's often much easier to completely avoid something that's bad for you, than to just be "moderate" with it. For instance - completely avoiding packaged junk food, eating not one bite, is MUCH easier and less stressful than being "moderate" (i.e., eating some here and there, and always thinking about when to stop).

That general principle is true i'd agree, but it's always the first push that's the most difficult, certainly is harder than after youve formed the habit.
Reading the War of Art made this crystal clear to me. And made it much easier to tackle bad habits/form good ones
