Agreed. Wallets just need to help their users defend themselves by setting a minimum cost for attaching comments.

A better solution is only allow notifications if above a certain threshold of SATs. The messages area is important and is used for certain reasons, so it should always be available for every message.

Bitcoin is a finite resource and it will get more expensive so the market will sort itself out
