I saw the soul of my generation destroyed by inflation,
bitter angry forgotten,
broken shuffling through malls at dusk looking for the minimum of a wage,
silent outcasts desperate for the better tomorrow promised and enjoyed by their parents,
poor, broken, gaunt and sugar high;
coding in the darkness of black mold basements
illuminated only by laptop screens,
(Apologies to AG but i wanted to start as close to his style as possible.)
I needed this to get me moving with a little inspiration this morning. I really think the Howl reference is apt. Very well done.

Ahh!!!!! Excellent. AG would be happy. I assume I can look forward to more verses?

I honestly don’t know. There is more and I have a draft, I’m just not that happy with it past this point.
I am also working on a short story, not Bitcoin related, but certainly a critique of traditional economics and the people Government leaves in its wake.

I'm looking forward to reading what you have. I have been bouncing around the idea of actual bitcoin fiction. I'm only at the character stage. No serious, philosophical stuff. I just think that there have been very interesting characters in the space. I'm not sure if it's the chicken or the egg that creates these people.

I'm not sure if a novel would work either. Just short stories. I think there is a lot of material. The Popescu types, the Lambo guys, the OG expats, the MtGox craziness. There are more I can't recall now. Hal Finney is like the Patron Saint. No obvious character flaws to explore.

Very tricky. The tone needs to be right. Pointing out the eccentricities while embracing the overall beauty and value of bitcoin.

Would love to read more of this!
