The errors I get on browserstack.com imply the browsers don't support modern javascript or something. I'm not sure why that would change other than us turning on production source maps in the latest deployment.

We pushed an update this week which is likely when it broke. I just don't have access to old devices/browser versions so it's hard for me to troubleshoot.

I guess I'll try to see what changed line by line and see if I notice anything weird but it works in all the browsers I try.

I've been disillusioned lately with my work, which sucks because when I started this position not long ago I was very excited about it. I hope things turn around, but as it is my goal is to finish my apprenticeship in the next few months and start assessing my circumstances and aspirations. I want to go to Brazil next year and visit my cousins, as I haven't gone in nearly three years and it's been even longer since seeing some of my family. More domestically, however, things go splendidly with the local bitcoin community, We have a leased physical space for organizing and activating. I expect amazing things to come out of it over the next year and in the years to come. I don't know if or how I can combine my professional life, bitcoin, and my passion for community building, but next year would be a great time to find out.

I'm the only person in my department, but recall I'm relatively new to the industry, so some supervision sometimes would be helpful. I feel mismanaged. I still like the job more generally, and hope that things change in short order. A month and a half ago I was overwhelmed with work, and that was better than now where I feel like I have little to do, despite the yard being full of superyachts.

Maybe you can time your visit next year with a Bitcoin meetup or event. I’d be up for a hop across the border if there was something focused and productive. A hackathon of sorts. Might be just what you need.

I don't mind your asking. I've written about my work here in the past. I'm in a Yacht Service Technician program, and I work as a yacht electrician. I expect to attend several meetups while in Brazil.

I read an article in 2012 calling Bitcoin a scam and never bothered researching more. I can still kick myself. Even if I just participated in those Bitcoin faucets back then would have been a good use of my time. I only got involved in Bitcoin when the project I joined had Bitcoin payouts. The project turned out to be a scam but thanks to that experience I grew my knowledge and understanding of Bitcoin. Today I am well versed and somewhat knowledgeable when it comes to Bitcoin and the Fiat system.

I started on day 201 with one push-up. Each subsequent day I increment the daily push-up count by 1.

So on day 250 I'll be doing 50 push-ups, on day 275 I'll be doing 75 push-ups, and when the challenge ends on day 300 I'll be doing 100 push-ups.

I absolutely hate it when people say Bitcoin is backed by nothing. What about the ridiculous amount of energy that goes into producing a single Bitcoin? What about the Bitcoin code? What about the millions of miners around the globe solving complex equations. What about tje cryptography used to safeguard individual wallets. Most importantly, what about every single cowboy in the SN Saloon?

Bitcoin doesn't need trust in third-parties. That's what makes it so special. Anyone can run the blockchain on their miners and start validating transactions. Its a perfect system.

I find the term "backed by" to be rather incoherent.

Does it mean to be redeemable for something, as old currencies were for gold?

Does it mean hard to produce, as we see with precious metals and real estate?

Does it mean value derived through threat of violence, as claimed by those who say the USD is "backed by the US military"?

Does it mean a combination of the above, or something else altogether?

It's one of those terms whose definition is so muddied and confused that I find it fruitless to engage with.
