A user with the nym Statoshi on Reddit pointed out a Reddit post from /r/personalfinance exactly 10 years ago.
The decade-old post jokingly asked whether they should put all their child's savings into Bitcoin - then proceeded to talk about traditional finance routes.
The majority of replies on the thread voicing derision against Bitcoin. A few had done some homework and felt it'd be worth a punt - but were drowned out by the herd.
As this isn't my post, and is low effort - I'm plowing the sats back into SN.
