As a native New Yorker, I hope that my city and state will one day regain its status as an innovative commercial center. I'm not holding my breath, though, and I'm not going to hang around and wait any longer. El Zonte here I come.

"Not a ban. It would not in any way restrict anyone's ability to buy, sell, invest, or use crypto currencies in New York State nor would it impact in anyway anyone's ability to do cryptocurrency mining as long as they're not buying a fossil-fuel power plant to do it."

When it comes to public policy on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, I would rather side with financial inclusion and crypto innovation than a “Not In My Backyard” mentality.
New Yorkers deserve better: a choice of whether they want to participate in the crypto revolution, rather than have their lawmakers make that choice for them.
