I'm typing this using a mobile device and mistakes may be frequent. A few years ago, something weired happened: from losing a job to a broken relationship. I know I'm not alone, and many suffer in silence. I'm a type that keeps things private in part due to prior experiences with 'none gives a FCUK' kind of perception. If you're my type, how do you handle this situation?
Here are my two cents
  1. Abstain from cheap dopamine. This includes alcohol, weed, cigarettes, Netflix, social media, etc.
  2. Build a healthy routine including sleeping and waking up early, walking daily in the sun, working out, and eating healthy. Lastly, I recommend journaling daily before bed, jotting down one win of the day, one point of gratitude, and one point of frustration.
  3. Pray and get into practicing your religion. You'll find peace in that regardless of your beliefs.
  4. Acceptance. Learn to accept your current situation and build from there.
You'll be rock solid in no time if you manage to do the above.

You're doing right. Most of people won't understand you however there're people who feel the same pain inside. Don't be silent talk to people, 5 people out of 100 have the same waves as you.
We just want to know the answer to the main out question - What is the sens of life? And when we can't find the answer brain screams - LIFE HAS NO SENSE. But it's not true. Life if perfect and you'll get as fast as you start to understand other people...

Appreciate the post, probably a challenge to say this stuff put loud So I think many more people than we realise are feeling in a similar way. (In the UK, mental health services are struggling to cope with a massive increase in demand, post pandemic). If your situation is serious, and having been there before, my take is to; 1.Identify how to reduce and remove the stress points in life that trigger downward moves. 2.Study and understand the different types of counselling and therapy that exists. There are many approaches. What works for one person is disastrous for another! Find the one that makes sense to you, then seek it out, either paying for treatment if you can afford it, or finding self help that uses that approach if not. 3. Acceptance. This will be a life long journey for most. Accept you are who you are, but you dont need to let the past define you right now and in the future. The future is an opportunity even if it doesnt feel like it right now. The Bitcoiners take on low/high time preference is useful here, if you're a Bitcoiner! In terms of personality, accentuate the positives and work on the negatives. 4. Dont give up!!
All much easier said than done! And if none of this makes sense, feel free to disregard it, but keep looking and trying!

We are merely surfers on a giant spinning rock amongst billions of other giant spinning rocks and exploding balls of hot gas in an endless universe. Try not to let the tribulations of being human beat you down.
I understand darkness. I have walked through it myself. Although our journeys may not be the same and our darkness may not be the same here is some advice I can offer.
  1. Don't lose a sense of wonder- go out in nature look around.
  2. Every day do something positive for yourself- take a walk, do a workout, read a book, listen to a podcast, find something that makes you laugh, meditate, journal, play music. (Everyone needs an outlet)
  3. Stay away from Alcohol, drugs, gambling, excessive social media exposure.
  4. Spend time with positive, productive people.
  5. Keep busy. Tire yourself out so you sleep well at night.
  6. One foot in front of the other. Win each day. I haven't had a drink in over 9 years after many years of drinking far too much and being miserable about it. To get to day 3,375 I had to get through day 1, then 2, so on and so on. Good habits compound.
  7. Sometimes you just need to seek professional help. Don't be ashamed if you do.
Hope this helps in some way.
