It's a good commercial but it's more a crypto commercial than a bitcoin commercial.
Crypto people use the mantra of "building the new system" and "ownership for the people" to excuse their desire to give themselves the right to seigniorage.

That's fair.
Coinbase has its flaws but I believe they're a net positive for bitcoin. I bought my first sats there back in the day and still use them on a regular basis in addition to several bitcoin-only exchanges.
I used to stick to the bitcoin-only places, but they always seemed to go down whenever I needed them. What can I say, I'm addicted to buying dips.

I also bought my first bitcoin from coinbase. I couldn't take all the rules and restrictions they implemented as they prepared to go public.
