It's poll day!
Big game this week 49ers v.s Eagles. All week I have been hearing about how crazy the Philly fanbase is and how loud and hard it is to play at the Link. We heard the same thing when the Phillies were in the baseball playoffs. I am not discounting it. It's a great sports town, but is it the best?
So today's poll is what is the best pro sports town in North America?
Boston20.0%
New York20.0%
Philadelphia0.0%
Chicago10.0%
Dallas0.0%
Detroit10.0%
Toronto0.0%
Pittsburgh0.0%
SF10.0%

I have to admit. I do get a kick out of the Philly Phanatic.
Maybe I should do a mascot poll next week. Baseball mascots are fun and silly but NBA mascots do some crazy stunts and acrobatics. The Raptors is known for doing crazy dunks off of a trampoline. The Raptor is pretty awesome. I have to bring my daughter to a Raptors game. My son has been but the little one has only gone to Blue Jays games.

Buffalo!! All this losing and fans are still passionate

Buff is a great great sports town but you only have 2/4 pro sports teams so hard to put at the top but agree Buffalo is one of the best fanbases.

Vs what LA? Who has empty seats? Don’t confuse quantity with quality
reply
LA is a terrible sports town. Their teams are just vanity and to be seen. I would never consider LA as a top sports town. Agreed Buff is way more supportive of their team than many much bigger cities.
reply
It just depends on the sport they love the lakers and Dodgers but the rest of the sports are ignored and if those teams are bad they don’t pack the arenas.

Plus show up late and leave early.

Exactly bills games are an event why they were coined bills mafia

Maybe Miami? Competitive NBA and NHL teams, NFL team might win the division, MLS team just won, CFB team is popular, MLB team stays interesting with no income somehow, and no state tax is a huge free agent draw

They don't really support the baseball team and hockey team has done well in attendance the past couple years but they were at the lower end of the league in attendance for many years. Definitely should have included them on the list but not sure they crack the top 5

Philadelphia is a shithole, and Philly sports fans attacked Santa Claus (not that there's anything wrong with that).

I have only been to Philly once. It was on the same trip that I hung out in NJ for a week. It did look like a real dump driving in but the city centre was really nice. I went to a phillies game and checked out all the sites. It was fun.

I was half kidding. Some of my closest friends in the world are from Philadelphia. I'm used to trash talking it. For the record, Philly fans aren't real fond of New York either.

I have never been to Minnesota but I would like to go. I want to check out the football stadium (it's one of the best in NFL) and the Twins stadium as well (also really nice).

Ordering is not based on anything other than not wanting to put philly first after mentioning them in the lead up and the order the cities came to my mind.
