Did he? That's funny. It would be a great validation of Horton's Law: Politicians break their good promises and keep their bad promises.

My mistake. He walked back dollarization. They are still saying shutting down the central bank is "non-negotiable".

That's a bit of a relief. I eagerly await the showdown.
If he walked back dollarization, what's the replacement plan for the central bank? Not that he has to have one, I'm a Ron Paul guy so "replace it with nothing" is a perfectly good option in my book.
