It is a very simple idea. See someone on nostr who has many interesting followers? You can follow them all at once. Just paste the npub of the person they're following on the box and hit "follow". https://m.stacker.news/7220

It should've gone farther. Something happened in the way. Can you check the console log? Trying again didn't help? I'll have to add some error messages to show on the screen.
Oh, I know what it is. You put the wrong string on the "nsec" text box. That box is supposed to receive your private key (nsec... string). Gotta add some checks, and support to browser extension.
It should show a popup saying "Done, now you follow X new people." If it stopped there, sounds like there's a connection issue maybe. Can you share the npub you were trying to get people to follow from? Could be a bug, in that case we'll have to fix it.

OK it requested a key from my browser extension and generated a different output. Any way to see if it followed 166 followers?

Be careful not to mix them up, one is for your private key, the other for the person's public key you want to get followers from.
I think that browser extension support will eliminate this source of confusion.
I tried again today and it worked great.
Then I got the popup saying followed x number of people.

we are working on having the extension sign the even so submitting your private key won't be necessary.
