Private key not needed anymore.
OK it requested a key from my browser extension and generated a different output. Any way to see if it followed 166 followers?

It should show a popup saying "Done, now you follow X new people."
If it stopped there, sounds like there's a connection issue maybe.
Can you share the npub you were trying to get people to follow from? Could be a bug, in that case we'll have to fix it.

That one works well for me.
Maybe try refreshing, or switching to an incognito tab/window?
Be careful not to mix them up, one is for your private key, the other for the person's public key you want to get followers from.
I think that browser extension support will eliminate this source of confusion.
