I understand, but he's the one evading taxes here, that's why I proposed crypto.

The money comes from mining fees (he's the one mining) and the amount is not much.

I've already made sure with a professional (a friend of mine) that in the worst case, nothing would happen on my end as long as I stay within the amount limit within the year, which I do.

Within a said limit you can work without having to pay any taxes or being a full fledged freelance.

This client already worked with another friend (who introduced me) and he get paid in hard cash (fiat) which seems worse to me.

Previously he paid me in fiat through Revolut with a "Pizza money" transaction, it was a pizza for 10 people though... 🤦 That's why I prefer crypto.

Anyway, as long as it's fiat he's the one in the wrong, I'm not the one evading taxes, it's better for both.

I'll make sure the swap will move only through new wallets, probably it'll be the only money kept in the destination wallet, then I'll just HODL.

Let's clear things up:

  • paying taxes is a SIN, a direct participation in all the atrocities that a gov will do.
  • using ETH, in any shape or form is also a SIN...

What options do you have?

I'm a sinful man. 😎

I'll go with ETH if everything goes well.

Assured it's still a sin in both cases, I'd rather go for at least a gov free option.
