I'm interested in any retrogames up to PS1 (NES, SNES, GBA, PS1, MAME, NeoGeo, etc) that allow multiple players play them simultaneously.

I now have two Miyoo Mini Plus and I would like to try some fun multiplayer between them. The Onion OS on Miyoo allows a mode where it shows & syncs the same "screen" on both and each Miyoo essentially works like a separate controller for the same game.

Goldeneye on N64. I spent many many hours of my youth at my friends' houses on the multi player death matches. Second would be Mario kart (take your pick which platform)

During the NES era you had Contra and Smash TV if you like run and gun.

The SNES Donkey Kong or you get some fighting games like Killer Instinct.

Looking at a few lists of games

Some chill ones I would recommend from the PS1 era would be Rampage World Tour, Crash Team Racing, or look at some sports games.

Trying to game with a non-gamer can be difficult. Cause now you also need to try if they would also enjoy the game.

I played a lot of Crash Bash (PSX) with my friends back in the day, not much today but it's still fun.

Also Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros (N64) where my go to for a quick evening.

Also Pocky and Rocky (SNES) or maybe Secret of Mana (SNES, haven't played this one yet).
