Good morning stackers,

Last week we did the 80s and we had some excellent submissions.

This week I want to swing into the 60s with https://youtu.be/1Ke8mzgex4U?si=0-G_w5z--kTr5mPa

So drop down below your submission for our Decades in December 60s segment and let's get this party started!

NB, I know I said "swing into the 60s" and it's probably closer to Rock & Roll but who cares 😉

So many amazing songs from that era but can you get much better than this?

What an absolute cracker of a submission. This whole era has so many to choose from but I'll always love the simplicity and beauty of this song. Otis Redding was just that guy.

Eeeeaaaassssyyyy there sigs... You better slow that Mustang down. Great track! Picket getting a lot of love this week. Originally done by mack rice in 1965 but picket got huge popularity in 1966 with it. It's been covered many times since aswell. Buddy guy and Jeff beck in the 90s and there was a film in the 90s that featured it aswell. Great shout!

That cover was nice. He's got a a nice clean tone to his voice. I enjoyed the harmonies they put together. Very stripped down, very good.

I'm sure Marvin Gaye would approve. Cheers Bellzer!

1966! Excellent suggestion, my feet just couldn't stop from giving a little twist an boogey under my desk whilst getting through some paperwork.

I love this thread. Every week I get something that makes me feel great!
