Well, that was quite a Thursday Night Football game. I did not expect the Chargers to play well without Herbert and Allen but that was something else. Although the craziness of that game made it a much more interesting watch than most TNF matchups.
I will be posting the week 15 pick 'em challenge shortly, so keep an eye out for that.
If you haven't joined the UFC 296 pick 'em, but are interested, you can find it here #351262.
I thought I was going to be relishing in the Toronto Maple Leafs taking a beat down last night after the Blue Jackets took a 5-0 lead but somehow the Leafs scored 5 goals in the 3rd period and tied the game. Fortunately, the Blue Jackets righted the ship and won it in OT but the Leafs steal another undeserved point and thrill their loser fans again.
The Dodgers traded for Tyler Glasnow and Manuel Margot and then extended Glasnow. So far it appears the Dodgers are the only team that wants to compete for a WS next year. They are still a flawed though. Ohtani can't pitch next year so they are still pretty thin in the rotation and bullpen. I am expect they will still be active. Hopefully other teams will as well.
Maybe I am being paranoid but the 49ers game this Sunday feels like a trap game to me. They could have 4 defensive starters out. Divisional game on the road against a weak opponent and a potential superbowl preview looming the following week against the Ravens. I don't think they will lose but it might be closer than everyone is expecting.
Tomorrow will be poll day and Sunday will be the Perth Heat recap.
