Great tunes, guys.
For me, this classic from the 70's, endlessly sampled by hip hop dj's and artists, from The Sugarhill Gang onwards, plus Queen's Another One Bites The Dust.
Co-written by Nile Rodgers & Bernard Edwards, the tune was a deliberate call to have fun in difficult times,
"We wanted to create a song that would feel like a party, that would embody the spirit of good times, even when times were tough"
Times change, and this was pretty much the end of the Disco era as New Wave and Punk took it's place.
For Feel Good Friday it's gotta be Good Times!

This is the essence of feel good Friday. Got a lot of time for this. Like you said, the point was to give people a break for a few minutes.
