My pet insurance is feeding a species-appropriate diet.

i've had a few great danes, which are super expensive as far as vet trips and meds, and prone to bloat, so i always carry pet insurance. it's like 3k to get a gastropexy, so it's worth it just for that in my book. i also get a discount through work, so it kind of makes it a no-brainer, for me at least

Yah that was a concern. My boy benji is a staffy and know they have health issues.

Bloat is horrible. I lost a dog to bloat 20 years ago. Caught it too late.

All insurance is a scam. Might as well be paying to attract an accident. Of course that's just my opinion.

I would agree normally but pet insurance has actually paid out more than any of my others and way faster lmao!

I have never gotten it, but I know people who swear by it. From what I understand, it's worth it if you're hit with a complicated, expensive procedure.

Yes thats what my co worker said with her one dog. I went with trupanion cause she said any health issues diagnosed once your cleared will be covered after the first diagnosis.
