I don't trust what the clergy write
Perfect, because none of them was a clergyman:
  1. Publius Cornelius Tacitus was famous Roman historian and politician
  2. Mara bar Serapion was a stoic philosopher from the Roman province of Syria
  3. Marcus Cornelius Fronto was a Roman grammarian, rhetorician and advocate
  4. Lucian of Samosata was a Hellenized Syrian satirist, rhetorician and pamphleteer
And they independently wrote that: "Jesus was killed [all of them] by crucifixion [Fronto & Lucian]"
