Yeah, I agree with you. I guess I don't "use" these apps much. I haven't tried Proton Calendar. I try to avoid using SMS altogether so this crappy app helps with that.

Yeah SMS is very insecure. I barely use it. What E2EE messaging app are you using btw?

I test and try many but the only one I've been able to move people to is Signal. It has a few tradeoffs but its good enough IMO.
