I really like the new section -- it's like one man's opinionated journey through SN.

Ah, that's also a good way to see it since it's definitely opinionated. I was even worried if some will complain that I am too biased but I would just respond that yes, I am biased but this is my post, lol.

I had the idea for this while writing this post actually. I think this can become some kind of "daily newsletter" where the posts that I liked get seen and thus zapped even more so there is even more incentive to produce the content I want to see on SN, lol.

Now imagine if everyone would do something similar; essentially promoting the content they like.

I was thinking of doing a similar thing -- explaining why I zapped what I zapped -- but it's just so much extra work that I don't have time for.

Maybe you have too high expectations? Maybe you can take some notes during the day? Also, where do you want to share it? Also daily posts? :)
