My "lesson learned the hard way" is that when choosing note taking / todo application it's a good idea to limit yourself to do it at most once per quarter. This is because there is infinite number of note taking / todo applications. For example in the class of outliners / "Personal Knowledge Management", some good ones are:

It's a good idea to use the ones that store text in markdown, because then it's much easier to switch to some other tool later...

The other day I found a cool new way to stack a bit more sats.

Fountain is a really nice podcast app that pays you sats for listening to your podcasts.

Of course it's a small amount, but if you're going to listen to them anyway, might as well get a few sats from it.

How much is it roughly? On a spectrum 1 sat per day or like 10BTC per second?

reply

I think it's something like 300 sats per hour or so

Can I ask which podcast you listened to?

Today I linstened for my whole working day and after 6 hours of playback I got 1 sat...

This is a new feature they just added, actually. A couple months ago they were giving away 1000 sats to any new user that joined, which is why i even joined lol

I just realized that they add ads in the podcasts, so that changed my original opinion a bit, but so far it seems pretty nice.

reply

Actually now I'm not sure, as it looks like the ads were added from the podcast distribution server itself!
