High fees have helped highlight some of the deficiencies of Lightning, so alternative L2s that make different trade-offs are getting more attention.

Bullish as fuck on 2024. I have deployed some capital into the top miners for a short-term trade in a tax sheltered account. For the record I mostly hold cold-storage BTC, but this is capital that cannot be used to buy spot (UK ISAs).

When I look at how much I'm paid for my time now, I'm almost annoyed at my younger self for accepting as little reward as I did for any of my time. Sometimes even did stuff for free just to help out. Not anymore. Work to live not live to work.
