Google started censoring my emails and docs last year. I'm off of them but I'm an edge case. The talk didn't involve Bitcoin but I can see it coming down the pipeline.
I can see the day where no money but 'their CDBC' can be discussed on their Big Tech Platform.

How much time do we have left?
And what can we do to help people wake up?
I don't think there is much we can do to wake people up, most people don't really have strong opinions, so they'll change their mind should they be burned by big tech and get back in line.
the only thing you can do is de-google and de-apple yourself as far as possible

Do Twitter shadowbans count? That type of censorship has been very widely applied to "bitcoin Twitter".
How about Youtube? In addition to multiple strikes and such earned for many popular bitcoin-related channels, we've even had outright channel closures (e.g., Bitcoin Magazine lost their channel right at the start of Bitcoin 2022 Conference).
And Apple had banned all bitcoin apps in their app store for years!
In bitcoin's early years the bitcoin article on Wikipedia was removed for not being "notable" and they kept it removed for quite a while (more than a year).
There was a ban on bitcoin-related services advertising on Google Ads.
So anyway, ... censorship of our industry is something that has existed to one degree or another since the beginning, and I don't suspect it will go away.
We are not innocent either. Try posting about Dogecoin on r/Bitcoin. Try posting about SegWit or Lightning network on r/BTC (the BCash subreddit). While posting about politics here on SN won't be outright censored, you'll see kvetching about it either on that post or in the daily thread.
But anyway, we should probably lead by discontinuing our use of these platforms that censor, starting with Google, Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, etc. But that's where attention currently is. Adoption of SN, nostr, Vida and other great innovations that would help does not happen overnight.

its interesting how many normies i talk to on a daily basis that don't even accept that there is any censorship going on.
they still think that the economy is great, and that they'll be fine handing over all their information to anybody.
there are days when i question my sanity and I somehow manage to find it with like minds here.
